Bespoke Christmas Installations for a Hospitality Chain

The Chestnut Group approached us to theme several their properties over the 2019 Christmas period.

The group owned 9 properties at the time with further expansion on the cards and a desire to incorporate on trend Christmas décor that is both linked to the style of the property and the group brand identity.

The venues were clustered into themed categories: Merry, Bold and Bright; Modern Twist; and Traditional Rustic. Each with their own distinctive design theme from bold and colourful paper garlands, to delicate glass baubles in more traditional festive colours.

With a background in hospitality, we understand the logistical side of installing in such high traffic areas, and the durability required for installations to last the busy festive period. Our team installed over three days in November, out of operational hours so as not to impact the everyday running of the business.

Sustainability was an important consideration when discussing proposed ideas. The group wanted to keep plastic to a minimum and eliminate it where possible. Real trees, potted where feasible were also used instead of artificial, the use of real foliage wasn't workable with the warm and inviting pub environments, however all artificial garlands used were part of a hire package from our stock, and once cleaned were returned to the warehouse to be re-used in future installations.
