Event Catering for Allergies & Dietary Requirements with Hall & Co. Event Design

Do you worry about picking food choices for your wedding? Perhaps you or a close family member has an allergy you're worried about.

Working in a business with an array of vegetarians, vegans and other dietaries, we understand how imperative it is to be able to offer a wide range of alternatives. Our cafe, Little Acre Kitchen, carries a range of healthy gluten-free, dairy-free healthy brunch options as well as holding Vegan supper clubs.

So how does it work with Hall & Co.?

Firstly, it's important to know all dietaries of your guests, especially close family members.

When sending out your invites always request dietary requirements. Let us know as soon as you have any severe dietaries.

Our team of chefs work with allergies and dietaries on a daily basis. The kitchen will help create a substitute menu to cater for those with requirements, or amend the ingredients in your chosen dishes.

What if I want a fully Vegan menu?

Here's some examples of Vegan wedding dishes... Get in touch and we'll send you over our 2019 vegan wedding menu.

I only have a few dietary requirements. How do we deal with this?

If you are having a sit-down meal, our chefs will plate alternative dishes up separately, ensuring requirements are exceeded in an allergy-free environment.

I'm having food stations instead of a sit down meal, how will the alternative dishes be presented?

Depending on the allergy or requirement, we will either create a clearly signed section of the station with the alternative dishes. For more severe requirements a member of staff manning the food station will bring their plate out from the kitchen. Our staff will ensure the guest of the ingredients in their dish.

Can all my dishes be amended to cater for the dietary requirements?

Absolutely, just let us know and our kitchen will work with you to ensure your menu suits.

Have your FOH team been trained in food handling & allergies?

All our team members within the business must complete food allergy & food handling training (Food Standard Agency Certificate) before they are allowed to go on events or handle food.
